Campus Information
Lodging
- Residence halls are not air conditioned.
- Wireless connection is not available
- Most rooms are double-occupancy with twin beds.
- Each person will be provided towels, pillow and case, bed linens, and a blanket or bedspread.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am daily. Out of respect for other competing teams, please keep noise at a minimum during quiet hours.
- Laundry facilities are in the building or in the community in which the hall is located.
Team Dining
-
You will be assigned to a specific dining hall for your meals. All participants will receive a meal card
which will be required for entrance to the dining area. Anyone purchasing "Meals-only packages" on the team's housing reservation will share the same dining hall as the team. If you are planning to leave campus, you may pick
up a bag lunch for any lunch that is part of your regular meal plan at breakfast. Please be certain you
want a bag lunch, since once you pick up a lunch, your card will be punched and you will not be permitted
to enter the dining hall for that particular meal.
Parking
- Parking lots which are not gated or otherwise noted as Odyssey-restricted are available free of charge.
However, you need to display the special Odyssey parking permit which you will receive at registration.
This permit also allows parking at any meter in the city of College Park. The permit is NOT valid in campus
pay lots.
-
Normal restrictions apply to fire lanes, spaces marked "Disabled Parking" and spaces reserved for service
vehicles. Parking in roadways, on pedestrian walkways or on landscaped areas is also prohibited.
Please take care to avoid these restricted areas.
On-Campus Shuttle
- During the competition, the University will provide a free on-campus bus service for all participants.
