Odyssey prepared me for where I am now: learning to brainstorm has helped me learn how to think quickly and deeply. Working on the problems with a group of people has helped me manage employees and develop a funded research program of about $1 million a year as a professor of Geography at the University of Toledo. Since being in OotM, I helped make a solar car at the University of Michigan that won the U.S. solar car race in 1990.
One of my favorite things about participating in OotM was World Finals. It was great getting to see what people from around the world had done. Also, being able to travel changed my perspective of what I was capable of doing. OotM gives you the skills to excel in your career in a fun and exciting way.
